Vh1 has a reputation for taking washed up celebrities and manufacturing second careers for them (think Celebrity Rehab and Celebrity Fit Club, for example). Coming this fall is a show that combines second tier celebrities and food! What could be better?
The show is called "Famous Food" and will track celebrities like Heidi Montag, the Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s Danielle Staub, the Bachelor's Jake Pavelka, “singer” Ashley Dupré, The Sopranos‘ Vincent Pastore, and two rappers from Three 6 Mafia as they attempt to open a restaurant. In just ten episodes we will find out if these people have what it takes to open a restaurant that will be called, appropriately enough, "Famous Food."
Two industry experts will ultimately decide which one of these people deserves a partnership stake in the restaurant. Are you going to watch this show?
